Abu- Ghazaleh: the Arab Region will encounter tremendous economic prosperity

DUBAI - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, the Chairman and CEO of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAGorg), emphasized, in his remarks, that the Arabic region is standing on the threshold of economic prosperity.

His remarks came as part of his participation at the Symposium, organized by the Jordanian Business Council in Dubai on February 24, 2007.

Abu Ghazaleh stressed on the fact that “the main factor behind prosperity is attributed to the developed countries' interest to obtain oil surpluses accumulated during recent years.”

"International interests will lead the region to stand between prosperity and wars at the same time since both situations serve their interest," he elaborated.

 "Peace is not necessarily a pre-requisite for economic prosperity, and war is not always harmful to the economy; however, both war and peace can have positive and negative effects ,"

At the end of the Symposium, Abu-Ghazaleh answered various questions asked by the attendees.
