Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh: Comprehensive digital transformation is the most important tool for achieving integrity

AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital (TAG.GD), received at his office a delegation from the Jordan’s Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission. During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects for cooperation in employing innovation, knowledge, and modern technology to develop initiatives and projects that effectively contribute to fostering a culture of institutional integrity and strengthening the national integrity framework.

The meeting also addressed ways to leverage technological developments and innovative solutions to develop modern working methods for enhancing integrity and preventing corruption. They also discussed opportunities for cooperation in supporting strategic national projects and exchanging expertise to enhance institutional performance efficiency and establish the principles of transparency and accountability.

Furthermore, the two parties stressed on the importance of empowering youth and engaging them in national integrity efforts by encouraging them to present creative ideas and technology-driven solutions to address challenges. This includes directing their energies to practical initiatives with a sustainable community impact, in line with royal directives of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II regarding youth empowerment and strengthening their role in the Kingdom’s modernization and development process.

It is worth mentioning that during his membership in the Royal Committee for Enhancing the National Integrity System, to which he was appointed by His Majesty the King Abdullah II, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh put forward a number of proposals aimed at fostering a culture of integrity and raising community awareness of its importance.

These proposals included issuing a specialized monthly bulletin covering integrity concept, significance, and applications, for publishing via media outlets and the Jordan News Agency (Petra), in addition to establishing awards to recognize innovators who develop solutions and propose ideas that promote integrity, as well as encouraging researchers and intellectuals to write on this subject to reinforce concepts of integrity and transparency in both the public and private sectors.

The proposals further included reviewing the experience of the Civil Status and Passports Department in implementing digital transformation as a successful model for utilizing technology to enhance integrity, transparency, and the development of procedures and services; an initiative carried out in cooperation with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co.
